District 15 encompasses approximately 140 square miles and has a direct service population of over 44,000 residents. District 15 is staffed with 1 Lieutenant, 5 Sergeants, 28 Road Patrol Deputies, and 2 Detectives. In addition, the district receives support from Community Policing, K-9, Aviation and the Traffic Division, and it operates in conjunction with two additional law enforcement service agreement bodies, the Indian Trail Improvement District. The PBSO District 15 headquarters is located in the county building at 200 Civic Center Way, Suite 300, Royal Palm Beach.
District 15 has adopted the “Rural Policing Model” which is a coordinated effort between the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the residents of our rural communities.
